We are CryptoMalawi.

A collective of crypto enthusiasts, researchers, and writers on a single mission — to educate, notify, and inform Malawi about the digital asset revolution shaping the world.

Our Mission

Cryptocurrency is no longer a fringe experiment — it is a fast-moving global financial movement that is already reshaping remittances, savings, and access to opportunity across Africa. Yet for many Malawians, reliable, locally relevant information remains scarce, scattered, or hidden behind jargon. CryptoMalawi exists to close that gap.

We are not a corporation, an exchange, or a paid promoter. We are an independent group of contributors — developers, traders, students, and curious minds — who believe that knowledge about money should belong to everyone, not just the few. Every article, guide, market update, and notification we publish is written with one question in mind: does this genuinely help our reader make a better decision?

What We Do

Educate

Beginner-friendly guides, deep dives, and explainers — from your first wallet to advanced on-chain concepts, written for a Malawian audience.

Notify

Real-time alerts on market movements, regulatory updates, and stories that matter — so you hear about it from us before it trends elsewhere.

Inform

Independent reporting on global and African crypto news, paired with live market data and the local Kwacha exchange context.

Empower

A growing community where Malawians can learn safely, ask questions, and build the financial literacy needed for the next decade.

Why We Stay Anonymous

In the spirit of the technology we cover, we operate as a pseudonymous collective. Bitcoin was given to the world by Satoshi Nakamoto — a name, not a face — and that tradition of putting the work above the identity is one we choose to honour.

Anonymity protects our independence. It ensures our coverage is never bent by personal brand deals, employer pressure, or local politics. It lets us call things as we see them — bullish or bearish, popular or unpopular — and report on sensitive topics like scams, regulation, and bad actors without fear. The work speaks; the writers do not need to.

What We Stand For

Transparent monetisation

Sponsored content, partnerships, and affiliate links are always clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial coverage — never hidden, never disguised as news.

Reader safety first

We routinely flag scams, rug pulls, and risky behaviour — even when it is unpopular.

Local lens, global reach

World-class crypto coverage, contextualised for the Malawian and broader African reader.

Education over hype

If a story cannot teach something useful, it does not belong on this site.

Built for Malawi. Open to the world.

We do not know who you are, and you do not need to know who we are. What matters is that when you arrive here, you leave a little more informed, a little more cautious, and a lot more ready for what crypto becomes next.
